Stephen Freear is a 30-year career banker, starting at Barclays in 1985 before moving into investment banking in 1989. He specialised in Asian equities, derivatives, and convertible bond transactions, spending much of his career at Nomura and MUFG in Hong Kong. In 2016 he became Managing Director, Head of Equities and Derivatives, and a member of the MUFG London Management Committee. From 2018–2022, he consulted for Crystal Palace FC, securing major sponsorships. He is also a Board Member of Hui10 Inc.
