Prior to joining Hui10 as executive director, Mr Yu was a member of the joint task force in the information construction of China UnionPay Three Gold Projects (Gold Card, Golden Tax, and Golden Shield).

Mr Yu worked in the of the Science and Technology Department of the People's Bank of China and was a founding member of the joint task force in the construction of China UnionPay. He was focused on the card issuing system, clearing and transfer system and acquiring market management system.

Member of the joint task force in the research and development of China UnionPay's first generation clearing and transfer system based on the Gold Card Project, and also participated in the development of the receiving market.

Member of the joint task force in the research and development and marketing of the anti-counterfeiting tax control system of the Golden Tax Project.

Cooperated with the 11th Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security to establish China's first network 110 alarm centre in Chongqing, and created the national network 110 alarm centre in the Golden Shield Project.
